The first step in hair care is shampooing ,select a mild shampoo according to your hair type apply and rinse hair very well with water .the way you wash and dry your hair are also important.
In hot ,humid weather ,oily hair should be washed often .three four times a week for oily hair and twice a week for dry hair. The important aspect to bear in mind is that washing does not harm the hair but the product you choose and the quantity of shampoo you use.
First wet the hair apply the shampoo and use your fingertips to rub it lightly on the scalp and hair. Be gentle with your hair. While washing use plenty of water so that you can get rid of dirt, dead cell and all soap. Avoid rubbing with a towel. Wrap a towel around the head for few minutes to soak up the moisture.
Avoid brushing wet hair , it cause the hair to stretch and break. Use a wide toothed comb like made of wood, horn or tortoise shell etc.
If you are using hair dryer , hold it 6 inches away from hair to avoid burning of your hair.
