The key to healthy eating is the time-tested advice of balance, variety and moderation.
It is tempting to turn to less healthy food choices because they might be easy to get or prepare, or they
satisfy a craving.A little learning and planning can help you find a diet to fit your lifestyle.
Tips for healthy diet
1.Eat a variety of nutrient-rich foods.
2.Enjoy plenty of whole grains, fruits and vegetables.
3..Maintain a healthy weight. you either lose weight or keep your BMI in the "healthy" range
4..Eat moderate portions which should be balanced overall, with foods from all groups, with lots of
delicious fruits, vegetables, and grains .
5.Eat regular meals with less sodium or salt, low in saturated fat and cholesterol and moderate in total fat ,
a variety of grains daily, especially whole grains, a good source of fiber , fruits and vegetables .
6.Skipping meals can lead to out-of-control hunger, often resulting in overeating.
7.Can include small number of calories from added sugars (like in candy, cookies, and cakes)
8.Reduce, don't eliminate certain foods.
9.Balance your food choices over time.
10.If you drink alcoholic beverages, does not include more than one drink per day (two drinks per day for men) .
