True.Cyanide prohibits blood from carrying oxygen, causing death by asphyxiation. And, sadly, the pips inside the “fruit of life” do contain a cyanide-sugar compound. But hold on: It would take a large quantity of apple seeds to cause a fatality, since the body can detoxify cyanide in small doses.
